Job description
Job Title: Metrology Engineer
Location: Manchester, CT

Responsibilities: - Support the design, development, and qualification of metrology test methods and fixtures.
- Program measurement systems, including Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) and Pc-dmis.
- Assist in first article inspection (FAI), routine testing, and measurement support, including data entry and analysis.
- Conduct Measurement System Analysis studies on metrology test methods.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers to transfer incoming inspection methods.
- Support the transition of inspection methods from CT scan to CMM.
- Review and document inspection results for FAIs and routine testing.
Required Skills: - Pc-dmis experience for CMM.
- BS Technical Degree.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Metrology.
- Knowledge in CMM & Pc-dmis.
- Ability to work with part drawings/models.
- Strong understanding of Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
