Position Summary
Full-time internship during the summer (May-August 2024), based in Mansfield, MA with potential to continue support part-time through holidays/school year. This position is responsible for supporting the engineering department with documentation, project work, equipment upkeep, and other areas as required.
Principal Responsibilities
- Assist in performing dimensional testing.
- Assist in writing and performing validation protocols.
- Document results and other related paperwork per Good Documentation Practice.
- Completes all related activities in compliance with GMP and ISO regulations within safety guidelines.
- Support customer complaint investigation activities.
- Support Nonconformance completion activities.
- Provide other departmental support as requested by the immediate supervisor.
- Support data collection process under improvement projects identified.
- Collect, analyze, and present data to the project team and manager.
- Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Quality System, Teleflex's Code of Conduct, all Company policies, safety rules, applicable procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Education / Experience Requirements
- Highschool graduate currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science related field.
- Knowledge and experience of working in the medical device industry or laboratory environment preferred.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with SAP and Minitab preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization required.
- Accurate typing and data entry skills required.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Basic statistics knowledge preferred.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy.
