Description: Our client is currently seeking an AP Specialist! This is a 6 month contract-to-hire position and will be onsite M-Th and remote Fridays.
This job will have the following responsibilities: - High volume data entry converting to fully automated invoice management.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payment disbursements.
- Monitor match exceptions and out of tolerance PO’s resolving differences with appropriate personnel and ensure variances are appropriately cleared by appropriate personnel (procurement or accounts payable)
- Review and reconcile vendor statements to maintain positive relationships with vendors, ensuring timely resolution of payment-related inquiries.
- Monitor and track purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Assist with month end closing requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements: - High School Diploma
- Preferred 1+ years accounts payables experience.
- Good understanding of accounts payable principles, processes, and best practices.
- Experience with AP Automation and OCR technology is preferred (Medius, Infor, Kofax etc)
