Description
Our practice is seeking full-time Front & Back Office Medical Assistant. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking skills are key. You will have a high degree of responsibility and independence.
This position will consist of front and back-office duties including: • Scheduling appointments
• Responding to patient calls
• Insurance knowledge
• Appointment Reminders
• Data entry into Electronic Health Records (EPIC)
• Scanning and faxing
• Billing
• Surgery Scheduling
Mandatory qualifications: • Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills
• Medical terminology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfort with interacting with the elderly and disabled
• Strong computer skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish
Strongly Preferred Qualifications: • Electronic Health Records (EPIC)
Requirements
Requirements: • 1+ years of Front and Back Office experience in GI practice
• Experience with surgery scheduling
• MA Certificate desired

Compensation will be based on experience. Pay Scale/Ranges: $15.50-$41.50/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees). *
