Job Summary:
About the Role & Team
The Audio Coordinator, reporting into the Audio Project Manager, helps with the day-to-day operation of the department that provides audio content for DCP’s expanding slate of digital products. This individual will review audio products for accuracy and quality, will monitor progress on multiple projects in collaboration with the audio team and our business partners and will ensure timely payments to our vendors and talent. Additional areas of responsibility will include coordination of assets and reviews with other Disney departments and lines of business, as well as business arrangements with external vendors.
What You Will Do
- You will work on various aspects of Audiobook and eBook production including, building pronunciation guides and libraries, quality control review of audio files, acquiring and distributing redemption codes for internal and external partners.
- Review and QC of in-house and licensee-produced audio content to assess quality of performances, audio production, and postproduction, as well as accuracy, fidelity to Disney intellectual property, and adherence to company policies and standards.
- Provide detailed written and/or verbal feedback to producers, editors, and licensees.
- Implement all talent agreements from initiation through payment.
- Accountable for all vendor and invoice payments, PO requests, and reconciliation with finance/accounting.
- Use web-based software tools to update status/production reports, schedules, and tracking software on a title-by-title basis.
- Manage various audio internal and external production projects and provide regular status updates in production meetings.
- Help coordinate reviews and address notes from internal and external sources.
- Receive, track, and store assets from both internal and external sources.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years’ experience in a project management or coordinator capacity in the media industry.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills, with a proven track record of applying creative problem-solving.
- A good ear for production and performance quality, as well as scrupulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with tight timelines.
- A can-do attitude and the openness to learn in a constantly changing environment.
- Knowledge and ability to proofread, review, and verify contracts
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with talent, agents, and/or studios.
- Understanding of and connection to Disney content
- An understanding of Airtable, Pozotron, and Final Draft
- Comprehension of Procurement financials or Procurement Center of Excellence
- Experience with English language learning and educational kids products a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in communications or English, or revelant experience.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $56,400 to $77,500 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
