The Biospecimen Associate II role involves facilitating daily Biorepository operations in the Biospecimen Acquisition and Management (BAM) function. This includes processing distribution storage and inventory management of biological materials critical to research development and validation of diagnostics products. The position based in Pleasanton California supports agile bioservices function contributing to the acquisition and management of human biological materials for Research and Development objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Independently manage BAM duties with meticulous attention to detail including sample checkin inventory consolidation and distribution.
  
• Utilize the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for documentation and database queries.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address discrepancies and manage complex service requests.
  
• Contribute to laboratory certification and accreditation activities maintaining cleanliness and order in the lab.
  
• Provide input for process improvement and assist in the development of standard operating procedures.
  
• Manage daily activities and assignments to meet business needs.

Education Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Biological Science or a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant laboratory experience.
  
• Proficiency in working with dry ice 80 degree freezers and handling human biological samples.
