Position Summary

The Department of Infectious Diseases, College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia, is seeking candidates for a clinical-track faculty position in Parasitology at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor. The major responsibilities for this position are to teach and manage the parasitology section of the Athens Veterinary Diagnostic Lab. The new parasitologist will also act to coordinate laboratory teaching efforts for all parasitology courses taught by the Infectious Diseases Department, including the fourth year rotation.

DVM and board-eligible or boarded Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Microbiology (Parasitology)

Director of the Parasitology Section of the Athens Veterinary Diagnostic Lab.

Percentage Of Time 40 Duties/Responsibilities

Coordinate laboratory teaching efforts for all parasitology courses taught by IDIS, including the fourth year rotation for veterinary students.

Research collaboration with investigators on and off-campus.
