Job description
Responsibilities: We are currently searching for an experienced, detail-oriented Accounting Analyst or Team Leader to join our Accounting Team with the intention of eventually leading our team.
Daily responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
•Collect, analyze, reconcile, prepare, and maintain accounting data through financial statements.
• Maintain accounting integrity within our tailored accounting and inventory programs. We have a NetSuite conversion in progress so experience with NetSuite will definitely be a plus
• Work closely with the existing team to ensure the timely collection of outstanding balances with professional and progressive communications.
• Preform financial analysis using advanced excel skills.
• Create and maintain timely financial reports.
• Perform related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed.
Education/Experience Requirements:
• 4 year accredited College Degree in Accounting is required. Masters is preferred.
• Five years experience with similar accounting responsibilities
• Strong technical accounting skills and solid knowledge of GAAP.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel (look up functions, pivot tables, macros, spreadsheet analysis)
• Ability to follow and establish processes and procedures to meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Requisites for success in this position include being self-motivated, critical thinking, detailed oriented, focused, personable, organized, and highly dependable.
• Experience in accounting desktop and ERP systems.
• NetSuite experience is a big plus
. This is a very hands on in office position. The perfect candidate will be proficient at shifting gears and handling several projects at one time
