IQ Clarity's client is looking for a Software QA Engineer. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Quality Engineer to help with software quality assurance across multiple applications.
Technical Skills:
Conduct requirement analysis and test data preparation
Develop test strategy, testing plan, test design
Perform windows client application testing
C# for automation scripting
Perform test execution, QA reviews, defect tracking and analysis
Testing of Mobile Applications (ideally Xamarin or MAUI)
Troubleshooting, debugging and root cause analysis
Demonstrated experience in testing window applications
Perform Data quality checks and identify data-related issues
Experience in JIRA, Azure Dev-Ops Project management tools for defect tracking
knowledge of CICD - (GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Maven)
Your responsibilities will include:
Work closely with the Back end, UI, Mobile Developers, Data Engineers and Product Managers, to write and groom stories, and create and execute test plans
Create and Manage automation testing frameworks for applications (web, client, server, and cloud) using C#
Design testing strategy and execution plan
Translate user stories to Manual/automated tests that can be reviewed by peers
Responsible for the review, setup and execution of test plans and test cases, both manual
Identify the failures and root causes of issues to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product to customers. Participate in continuous delivery and deployment, take ownership, and strive to become a better problem solver
Participate in software and system performance analysis, tuning, and demand/capacity planning for business-critical, large-scale, and high availability applications.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
3+ years strong QA experience.
Experience with automating tests using C#
1+ years of QA/testing experience in microservices and components, and data processing pipelines
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English and the local language.
Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases. proficient in writing queries and validating data.
Knowledge of any Cloud-related technologies like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
