Overview:
An industry-leading consumer electronics company is hiring a Program Manager (Cloud Security Infrastructure) to join the innovative PanasonicWELL team, which is focused on building a platform of products for their residential clientele. The ecosystem will serve families through new and existing hardware products with a software-enabled experience, utilizing Responsible AI with utmost privacy, and human beings serving where technology cannot. PanasonicWELL will incubate new brands and future products focused on health, wellness, and well-being, enhancing existing businesses by building a unified platform to service customers, and train next-generation employees to learn new technology and solutions.
This person will oversee the cloud infrastructure workstream, playing a pivotal role in protecting user data collected by PanasonicWELL's AI-powered devices and applications. You'll be at the forefront of shaping the future of smart home wellness technology by overseeing the privacy side of our innovative solutions; utilizing previous experience protecting internal and external data within a matrixed organization, proficient understanding of compliance landscape around consumer data, and leading cloud security projects from initiation to completion. confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our consumer data, this role is for you.. This person will also utilize their expertise in agile software engineering to speed up development and ensure all pieces of the complex initiatives come together on time.
**The ideal candidate is a Program Manager who has experience within a PMO to align cloud security initiatives with overall organizational goals.

What you'll do:
Manage the cloud security roadmap: balance, drive, and align key features while surfacing gaps and mitigating risks to projects
Regularly communicate program status, milestones, and challenges to executive leadership and relevant teams; presenting regular aggregate data updates on metrics pulled from Tableau.
Facilitate cross-functional meetings to drive alignment and decision-making with technology and product teams to ensure successful working relationship.
Ensure seamless integration of security solutions into our cloud environment.
Work closely at all levels of the organization, both in the US and Japan.
Lead cloud security projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Establish project governance frameworks, including risk management, issue tracking, and reporting.
Build strong relationships and communication channels with cross-functional and cross-Company (Panasonic) partners to collaborate and advocate for Product Management's roadmap, manage risks, and facilitate tradeoffs.

Skills and Requirements
BS or higher in Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent technical experience)
Minimum of 5 years of Program Management experience with a focus on consumer data products including apps, AI chatbot development, natural language processing, and IoT smart home devices (bonus points for experience within a startup, Apptech or company leveraging Generative AI).
Proficiency in using tools like JIRA for project management.
Experience with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Experience regularly communicating/pitching program status, milestones, and challenges to executive leadership and relevant teams.
Experience reporting on metrics, pivot tables, and aggregate data from Tableau, Power BI, SAS, or related systems.
Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and consumer data protection regulations.
Detail-oriented disposition and clear, concise communication skills. - Fluent in Japanese
Experience working closely with a PMO
Salesforce, Snowflake, or other PM tools related to GDPR, CCPA
Japanese corporation consumer electronics experience (ie. Philips, Toshiba, LG)
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP null
