PeopleSoft Functional Analyst

Job description
As a member of and leader within an integrated program team, as a PeopleSoft Analyst you will lead PeopleSoft solution designs, perform business process analysis, develop technology solutions for complex or unusual challenges and problems related to the Human Resources Management PeopleSoft solution.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Adapt existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
- Comprehend the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to program & system goals and translate into actionable and deliverable solutions.
- Coordinate the collection and preparation of requirements for major modules and serve as a liaison between the development team and the customer ensuring system needs are being met.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management System (HCM).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of, experience with/in, and demonstrated ability to:
- Provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
- Effectively present information.
- Comprehend, analyze and interpret complex documents.
- Solve problems involving several options.
- Provide Level of Effort (LOE) details for potential functional analyst efforts.
- Create complex queries and reports
- Leading requirements gathering and Fit-gap sessions
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
- Making decisions cognizant of and compliant with applicable policy, procedure, and process applicable to and required to achieve results and deadlines.
- Work with end users and other stakeholders to test Oracle PeopleSoft application components.
- Planning and executing data conversion activities (e.g., test data) and configuration.
- Seeking guidance [when stumped] on complex problems to avoid incurring risk.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or PhD with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
