-Job Type: Contractor

-Hire Date: Immediate

-Compensation: $19 - $25/ hour (based on experience)

-Per diem : we offer the highest non-taxable per diem in the market(including on overtime)

-Hours:  overtime is available

 

-Tools: toolbox and tools required

JOB SUMMARY:


 
Responsible for interior maintenance and repair on Commercial Aircraft Types.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Remove, clean, service and replace various aircraft components with the use of special tooling and ground support equipment following oral and written instructions such as supervisor’s directives and manuals to complete all routine and non-routine assignments in a timely manner.
Recover all aircraft seats and armrests.
Service all aircraft emergency equipment to specifications.
Perform the duties of and provide necessary training for lower skill levels.
Maintain and store various tools in a serviceable condition.
Adhere to safe maintenance practices and keep a clean work area.
Maintain and supply personal records of work performed on OJT forms for the Training Department.
Ability to work weekends and 1st or 2nd shift, required.

Successfully complete any courses deemed necessary by the Training Department.
Perform any work that may be assigned by his or her supervisor.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Proficient working knowledge of the following skills: Proper use of safety equipment, use of drill motor and drill, use of rivet gun and set, remove and reinstall interior panels, insulation, floor panels, door thresholds, cock pit seats, cabin seats, overhead bins, cabin window shades, original carpet, original moonwalk, door slides and covers, life rafts, non-skid material, stewardess seat, air grills, seat covers, DATO panels and Mylar, install emergency equipment, dump lavatory, service lavatory, fill potable water, disinfect lavatory, clean interior of aircraft, Operation of Reader Printer, General Knowledge of ATA codes and F.A.R.’s and company policies and procedures, General knowledge of all paperwork procedures including job cards/time cards, routine/ non-routine cards, S.R.M.’s, service bulletins and work sign-off/sell-off procedures.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required.

FAA Airframe License required, Powerplant preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 6 months minimum experience in heavy commercial maintenance – C and D checks.
