Job description
We are a leading consumer services company and seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to support the company's financial operations. As an Accounting Assistant, you will work closely with the accounting team and other departments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and review financial reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Help with budget and forecasting processes
- Maintain vendor and customer records
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
- 1-2 years of relevant experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
- Availability to work full-time on-site.
- Hourly $24.00 - $30.00/hr DOE
