Project Overview
The Rio Grande LNG Project is located at a site south of the Brownsville-Port Isabel Highway and north of the Brownsville Ship Channel in Cameron County near Brownsville, Texas. The Project scope includes the detailed engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, start-up and testing of a greenfield liquefaction and export terminal consisting of up to five liquefaction units and associated facilities, utilizing APCI C3MR technology.
Position Summary
Responsible for jobsite material management and inventory functions and the receipt, storage custody, and issue of consumables, tools, bulks, spares, equipment, and permanent plant materials to be used in construction. Oversees materials management records and documentation, and Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS) data entry relating to receiving, inventory management, and material issuing.

Provides direction to assigned material specialists, craft, and clerical personnel, as assigned.
C. Contacts
Maintains direct working relationship with Field Engineering and Construction concerning the receipt and availability of materials for issue to the field.
Maintains direct working relationship with Purchasing and Expediting concerning material delivery schedules and shipments.
Maintains direct working relationship with Project Quality Control/Field Engineering regarding documentation and inspection for materials received.
Maintains direct working relationship with Accounts Payable regarding documentation for materials received and resolution of invoices on the hold report.
Maintains direct working relationship with assigned crafts and clerical personnel in the process of receipt, storage custody, and issue of project materials.
Maintains direct working relationship with carriers and vendors concerning the receipt and delivery of project materials.
Responsibilities
Job Knowledge
Experience in the specialized area of construction material management.
Proficiency in planning, personnel guidance, and knowledge of procedures concerning shipping, receipt, storage, and issue of construction materials and the administration of documentation associated with these actions.
Experience and knowledge of the Microsoft office suite, and DSCS or other material management system.
Experience in controlling on site Min-Max inventories, consignments, and on-site service contractors.
