Brown Pins Take Notice! Cumberland County, Maine is hiring certified corrections officers for per diem work! We are looking for certified corrections officers to work part-time / as needed and available, at our jail in Portland, Maine. This is not a travel position.
Our Portland, Maine jail provides a healthy, safe, secure, humane, and cost effective place for persons alleged or convicted of crimes. As a per diem corrections officer, you would provide for the care, custody, and control of inmates in their personal quarters and during recreational time.
If you hold a current certification in corrections, are a good listener and have a calming demeanor - We look forward to reviewing your application!
