We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be trusted to work with Production Technicians and Electro-Mechanics at our Johns Creek, GA Manufacturing Facility!
In this role, a typical day will include the following:
Installs molding tool plates and troubleshoot the DSMFLEX injection molding process and molded parts.
Performs various electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical duties.
Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
Operates related equipment, conducts tests, and reports data in the prescribed format.
Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
This position requires initial work in partnership with Engineering and Electromechanics. The candidate must gain knowledge and experience in troubleshooting all DSMFLEX modules.
Experience in or knowledge of working with manufacturing processes, and production in a fast-paced environment.
Prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
What you’ll bring to Alcon:
High School Diploma or equivalent
The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Work Hours: Day Shift (H or J schedule): 36 - 48 hours per week (12-hour rotating day shift): 2 days on, 2 days off, and every other weekend.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Injection molding experience preferred.
Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
Internal candidates: Manufacturing Associate Assessment is required before transfer if no technical degree or certification has been acquired.
