Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA
Part -Time
Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies is currently seeking a Technical Writer to support the Business Systems department.

Responsibilities
- Works with the Supervisor of Documentation and Training
- Maintains and/or creates online documentation using Adobe RoboHelp software for Topic Help, GUARD's users guide for company's proprietary insurance software
- Updates documentation based on system changes and creates new entries to document new products, system functionalities, and lines of business
- Reviews/copyedits Topic Help entries to confirm accuracy, enhance, and improve usability and appearance
- Assists the Supervisor of Documentation and Training with other job responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong MS Office skills
- Editorial skills with a keen eye for design/presentation
- Excellent file management skills
- Adobe RoboHelp or similar HTML editing software
- At least 1 year experience but willing to train
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary
