Job description
Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an Administrative Professional support to Space Systems Command International Affairs (SSC/IA).
This position will support Government Leadership in the Division Action Group (DAG), Foreign Disclosure, ITAR & EAR, or the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program portfolio.
This is a full-time opportunity located in Los Angeles, CA.
***Contingent upon contract award***
Duties include, but not limited to:
DAG
- Plan, coordinate, participate and execute international partner visits, key leader engagements (KLE), and conferences
- Receive, control, and manage all taskers
- Conduct trip planning and associated administrative support tasks for SSC/IA Leadership
- Provide support in the tracking of personnel and staffing needs within the directorate and assisting in the preparation of manning documents
- Prepare packages for awards, decorations, and evaluations
ITAR
- Maintain permanent electronic documentation of all decisions concerning disclosure release or denial of information to foreign nationals
- Assist the government in processing foreign visit requests to include pulling the foreign visit request from JPAS/DISS, coordinating foreign visit request through numerous organizations, track progress of request, and request to government for final approval
- Assist with reviewing, processing, and tracking ITAR exemption requests
- Aid the Government in developing and conducting basic FDO, ITAR, and Export Administration Regulations ( EAR) training
FMS
- Assist in maintaining and updating program/project management documents, developing standard plans and operating instructions/procedures, financial management, developing and maintaining IMS and critical path models, identifying, assessing, and documenting acquisition and acquisition logistics resource requirements, evaluating and responding to Letters of Request (LOR), formulating Letter of Offer and Acceptance Data (LOAD), and Manpower Requirements Packages (MRP)
- Perform a wide range of acquisition and logistics management activities in support of the existing and future Directorate FMS programs
- Assist with case acquisition program planning, scheduling, implementation, execution, and risk management
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance : Must have an active DoD Secret clearance, eligible for TS/SCI and be able to maintain it.
Education: High School Diploma or higher
Years’ experience: A t least 9 years of experience in related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Clearance : Top Secret
Education and Years’ of experience:
Associates degree or higher and at least 7 years of experience in related field.
Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least 3 years of demonstrated experinece in a related field.
- Experience utilizing Task Management Tool (TMT)
- Proficient in the use of FMS-specific software and Management Information System (MIS) applications, to include but not limited to Air Force Security Assistance and Cooperation Directorate On Line and DSAMS/SAMRS applications
- Experience utilizing Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance Systems (APACS)
- Experience utilizing Defense Travel System (DTS)
