DAY-TO-DAY

As a Plumbing Excavation - Heavy Equipment Operator, you are an important member of our team. Skilled in excavating and directional digging, you supply the expertise we need to tackle our clients' trickiest plumbing problems. Each day brings a new challenge, and you take care to prepare the job site and choose the best heavy equipment for the task at hand.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A PLUMBING EXCAVATION - HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

• Construction experience in underground utilities, sanitary sewers, pipelines, reinforced concrete pipe storm drains, or waterline projects
• Experience operating specialized trenchless equipment such as tunnel boring, guided boring, or auger boring systems
• Experience with heavy equipment, including loading, unloading, and excavating soil as well as the operation of backhoes, skid steers, bucket loaders, and forklifts
• Experience setting up a job site, interpreting plans, and using survey equipment to calculate grade and alignment
• Ability to perform the physical functions of the job such as climbing, squatting, and lifting
