You'll be able to leverage your mechanical engineering expertise to support clients in manufacturing, industrial buildings, and processes. This is an Atlanta-based role that requires local residency and blends office, remote, and client-site work (15-30% travel nationwide). You'll visit sites to collaborate with clients on safety projects and mechanical operations, gathering data, analyzing regulations, and delivering comprehensive technical reports. A heavy focus of this role will be on machine and automation analysis along with safety projects specializing in Combustible Dust.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, ideally in a manufacturing setting or consulting firm, with demonstrated equipment/process knowledge.
• Experience with safety initiatives such as OSHA, safety audits and compliance, or machine guarding is key.
• Machine design, automation/robotic systems, industrial hygiene, EHS, combustible dust (DHAs) are all pluses.
