What will I be doing?
As the Vice President HR Technology, you will lead our global HR and Payroll enterprise systems and integrations, inclusive of Recruiting and Learning Management. Leading the HR Technology team reporting to Senior Vice President Total Rewards & HR Technology, you will shape the strategic vision of Hilton’s HR Technology ecosystem by building and elevating innovative technology solutions and business processes.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Develop and implement an industry-leading HR technology strategy by outpacing and adapting to technological progress, economic change, global complexities, and organizational needs.
- Lead digital advancement, scale, and simplification to elevate and streamline the business process/operations of HR and Payroll technology and systems.
- Manage an appropriate balance between innovation and stabilization of systems.
- Identify technology enhancements to create the best Team Member experiences and to improve efficiency.
- Enable business strategy powered by robust and integrated technology platforms.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Lead and grow technical teams by providing strategic direction and oversight for processes and technology.
- Inspire and coach future HR technology leadership and skillsets within the team.
- Educate and consult with business leaders on emerging technology trends and capabilities to ensure that we have cross-functional alignment and seamless technology integrations.
- Enhance and empower Team Member interaction and engagement with platforms and solutions.
What initiatives you will take ownership of:
- Partner with the HR Strategy and Innovation teams to reimagine the future of work and transform the Team Member experience in our offices and at our hotels.
- Evaluate the impact of and opportunities for Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI for the HR function .
- Responsibility for global expansion of HR, Payroll, Recruiting, and Learning Systems technology capabilities.
- Accountability and oversight of governing processes around system SLAs , performance management, and data architecture.
- Ensure that we have operationally sound procedures and processes for creating and implementing functional and technical requirements through the integration of new system configurations across the global HR and Payroll systems.
- Delivering exceptional Team Member experiences with people, processes, and technology.

- Outstanding critical thinking, combined with both quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, while employing logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and comprehension skills, including articulating complex technical content to a wide audience, who may or may not be familiar with systems or the subject matter.
- Experience in a highly visible role which requires strong and tested skills leading a dynamic organization.
To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- Fifteen (15) years of professional experience working in a global, corporate matrix environment
- Ten (10) years of experience with Cloud software, HR systems, and services, leading a large, global, and diverse team at a Director or above level
- Two (2) to Five (5) years of experience at the VP level
- Licenses or certification in Cloud software, HR systems, and services
- Ability to travel, up to 50%
It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- BA/BS bachelor’s degree
- Experience with Oracle HR Platform
- Experience Recruiting and Payroll technologies (i.e.. Taleo)
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (i.e.. SAP, Cornerstone)
