Job Summary
Primary responsibility will be safely operating material handling equipment (MHE) to include forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachment, and/or clamper truck or attachment. May also perform an array of warehouse duties related to the accurate and timely shipment and receipt of goods, consolidation of warehoused product, and replenishment of pick locations.
Job Description
- Safely operate material handling equipment (MHE) to include forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachment, and/or clamper truck or attachment.
- Safely and properly unload trailer of product, verify the load for accuracy and stage for put-away.
- Pull orders from warehouse location and utilize conveyor system for sorting & staging
- Load semi-trucks & smaller box trucks according to delivery requirements
- Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) scan guns and tools for the purpose of maintaining proper inventory levels and proper location of goods in the warehouse.
- Assist in physical inventories and cycle counting as directed.
- Interact with associates during the hand-off from shift to shift. Will frequently interact with delivery personnel, and the early morning receiving crew.

Skills Required
- Receiving – Sitdown Forklift
- 1+ year(s) of consistent experience operating power equipment (forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, etc.)
- 1+ year(s) of warehouse experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Upon conversion to FTE, required to obtain power equipment certification
Must Have:
- 1+ Year of Forklift experience

Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Throughout shift, consistently lifting 35-48lbs and occasionally moving (pushing, dragging) up to 100lbs.
- Dress code:
- Clean, casual/comfortable garments appropriate for warehouse and inclement weather
- Clothing must promote safe, professional, and productive environment - No obscene images, profanity, or otherwise disturbing content
- Shorts are acceptable but should be longer than mid-thigh.
- No skin-tight, see-through, or baggy clothing. No loose jewelry, and long hair must be pulled back out of face.
- Long fingernails are not ideal for this environment
- Sturdy, comfortable closed-toe, closed-back shoes are required - MUST BE WAREHOUSE APPROPRIATE (Steel-toes are not required, but crocs, sandals, 'Ugg' boots, or anything of the like is not permitted. Comfortable boots or athletic shoes are best suited.)
- Yellow Reflective Safety Vest
