Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The Senior ServiceNow Developer will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, architect solutions, and mentor junior developers. This role requires in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules, scripting languages, and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the gathering of requirements from stakeholders and analysis of business processes.
  2. Design, develop, and implement complex solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
  3. Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, workflows, and UI components to meet business needs.
  4. Develop and maintain advanced ServiceNow scripts and workflows using JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow APIs.
  5. Customize ServiceNow forms, fields, views, and user interfaces to optimize usability and user experience.
  6. Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications and systems using web services, APIs, and middleware.
  7. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers on the team.
  8. Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of complex ServiceNow configurations and customizations.
  9. Provide expert-level support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications, including incident resolution and problem management.
  10. Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and emerging technologies.
  11. Document technical designs, architecture decisions, and implementation procedures.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
  3. In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Asset Management.
  4. Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages, including JavaScript, GlideScript, and Jelly.
  5. Strong understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management best practices.
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  7. Proven leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience leading technical teams and guiding junior developers.
  8. ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) preferred.
  9. Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
  10. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex business requirements.
  11. Commitment to delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
