Posting Date: Job Schedule: Locations: Degree Level: Job Description: What We Are Looking For The Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty utilizes the tools of research, policy, and practice to cultivate evidence-based solutions to the challenges of food and economic injustice. The Program Coordinator will support this mission by performing professional and administrative duties in support of the day-to-day operations.
A Bachelor's degree, three years of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required. A Master's degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred.
A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another.
*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work . What You Will Do The Program Coordinator will be responsible for planning, executing, reporting, and evaluating all program activities including but not limited to the following for funded projects.
- Provide management oversight for daily operations of outreach, training, marketing, and
- reporting.
- Initiate, foster, and develop ongoing relationships with partners and other stakeholders in the project's operating responsibilities. Partners may include but not be limited to the following entities:
- Educational institutions, including various stakeholders within Baylor University
- Community health organizations
- Federal agencies
- Local, regional, and state agencies (e.g., TDA, TEA)
- Community food and wellness coalitions and partners
- Faith-based partners resourcing low-income communities
- For-profit organizations
- Non-profit organizations
- Food Banks and pantries
- Local officials and stakeholders
- Support the creation, design and delivery of all marketing, promotional, and educational
- tools, programs, and activities.
- Train community partners on the project's purpose, objectives, and goals.
- Utilize exceptional accuracy in collecting, analyzing, and managing all data.
- Track and report all progress on project or grant deliverables.
- Draft reports for internal and external constituents as required by the grant, the university, and external or internal partners.
- Draft news releases and articles for media outlets.
- Develop social media content.
- Develop and make presentations to various stakeholders.
- Maintain content expertise on topics relevant to the project
- Participate in BCHP meetings and other required trainings and meetings
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
- Comply with university policies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Report to the Director of the Innovation Hub.

- Proficiency in creating content for social media (e.g. Facebook, websites)
- Preferred Background and Skills
- Educational and/or professional experience in food security or public health
- Knowledge of federal nutrition programs
- Experience with non-profit coalition building, marketing, and outreach
