Job Summary:

The Marketing and Promotions Manager supports high-level marketing efforts in sales, promotions, brand awareness, and team management. This position is responsible for crafting and executing high-quality marketing and promotional campaigns, meeting deadlines, managing budgets, analyzing data, and managing the marketing team in both the field and office.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Manages and supervises a marketing team, including hiring, training, workloads, schedules, and deadlines
• Recruits, identifies, develops, and retains talent that delivers excellent performance
• Manages, monitors, and executes marketing and promotional budgets upwards of 5 million dollars
• Manages monthly sale and marketing accrual program

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Plans, develops, and implements marketing strategies and brand vision by setting the standard for marketing promotions and special events in stores and online.
• Develops the marketing and promotional short and long-term strategies
• Develops and implements marketing plans, including promotional calendars and programs, new product introductions, and other marketing projects
• In store display management and budgeting
• Manages promotional marketing inventory budgets and distribution
• In field team monthly budgeting and strategy
• Leads the creation and execution of brand-appropriate promotions including: Product Launches, Universal Promotions, Wholesale Promotions
• Leads and direct all cross-functional communications & partnerships in your territory- liaison between marketing and key partners across the organization
• Works directly with HQ Marketing Director

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be 21 years or older
• Strong understanding of both wholesale and retail marketing strategy
• Metric driven with demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to work strategically
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of business savvy
• Strong computer skills (setting up systems within the department using software like Asana, Microsoft, excel etc)
• Ability to adapt plans in a rapidly changing business environment
• Top notch organizational skills with a strong ability to prioritize (and reprioritize) tasks in real time

Education and Experience:

• 5+ years experience in team management
• 5+ years experience in marketing programs, campaigns and events
• Experience managing a budget of over $5 million annually
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, or related field preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be willing to come in office 2-3 days a week minimum
