Job Summary:
The Marketing and Promotions Manager supports high-level marketing efforts in sales, promotions, brand awareness, and team management. This position is responsible for crafting and executing high-quality marketing and promotional campaigns, meeting deadlines, managing budgets, analyzing data, and managing the marketing team in both the field and office.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages and supervises a marketing team, including hiring, training, workloads, schedules, and deadlines
- Recruits, identifies, develops, and retains talent that delivers excellent performance
- Manages, monitors, and executes marketing and promotional budgets upwards of 5 million dollars
- Manages monthly sale and marketing accrual program
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Plans, develops, and implements marketing strategies and brand vision by setting the standard for marketing promotions and special events in stores and online.
- Develops the marketing and promotional short and long-term strategies
- Develops and implements marketing plans, including promotional calendars and programs, new product introductions, and other marketing projects
- In store display management and budgeting
- Manages promotional marketing inventory budgets and distribution
- In field team monthly budgeting and strategy
- Leads the creation and execution of brand-appropriate promotions including: Product Launches, Universal Promotions, Wholesale Promotions
- Leads and direct all cross-functional communications & partnerships in your territory- liaison between marketing and key partners across the organization
- Works directly with HQ Marketing Director
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Strong understanding of both wholesale and retail marketing strategy
- Metric driven with demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to work strategically
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of business savvy
- Strong computer skills (setting up systems within the department using software like Asana, Microsoft, excel etc)
- Ability to adapt plans in a rapidly changing business environment
- Top notch organizational skills with a strong ability to prioritize (and reprioritize) tasks in real time
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years experience in team management
- 5+ years experience in marketing programs, campaigns and events
- Experience managing a budget of over $5 million annually
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, or related field preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be willing to come in office 2-3 days a week minimum
