Job description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform to streamline business processes and enhance overall efficiency.

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, customize applications, and provide ongoing support and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Solution Design and Development:

    • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and design ServiceNow solutions that align with organizational needs.
    • Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, forms, and workflows to optimize business processes.
  2. Configuration and Customization:

    • Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and other ITSM processes.
    • Implement and maintain ServiceNow configurations, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts.
  3. Integration:

    • Collaborate with integration teams to design and implement ServiceNow integrations with third-party systems and applications.
    • Develop and maintain integration workflows and scripts to ensure seamless data flow between ServiceNow and other platforms.
  4. Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, system administrators, and end-users, to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to provide project updates and address any issues.
  5. Documentation:

    • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for ServiceNow solutions, including design specifications, development documentation, and deployment guides.
  6. Testing and Quality Assurance:

    • Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure they meet specified requirements and are free of defects.
    • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve any issues identified during testing.
  7. Support and Maintenance:

    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow applications, addressing user-reported issues and ensuring system stability.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including upgrades, patches, and system enhancements.
