Job description
Responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts that include functions such as warehousing, shop and delivery services to ensure material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Coordinates incoming/outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products, and parts.
2. Supervises work and personnel associated with receiving, shipping, materials handling, warehousing, and/or expediting.
3. Drafts and maintains production schedules.
4. Ensures material availability and delivery.
5. Oversees the day-to-day activities of production or operations workers.
6. Uses order volume data to forecast and estimate future material requirements.
7. Leads and directs the work of other employees.
8. Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field or equivelant experience
2. Advanced knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes.
3. 5 years of experience working in Material Handling or relevant area.
Preferred:
1. Master’s degree in Logistics or related field.
