As a Homemaker / Housekeeper here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
- Assist clients with incidental activities of daily living such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and companionship
- Reinforces adequate fluid and nutritional intake
- Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
A few must-haves for Homemaker Caregivers:
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Six (6) months of experience in a housekeeper role, preferred
- Valid AZ driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
- Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator
The Interim HealthCare Homemaker / Housekeeper may not:
- Perform any personal care or skilled nursing procedure, which is prohibited by the State Nurse Practice Act
- Reconcile bank statements, endorse checks, or use any form of client's credit / debit card, or ATMs
