Job description
Job Summary:
Advantage Chevrolet of Bridgeview is seeking an experienced Service Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. As a Service Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching service and repair requests for our customers' vehicles. This is a full-time, individual contributor role that requires strong communication and customer service skills. The position is located in Bridgeview, Illinois and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming service and repair requests from customers and schedule appointments
- Coordinate with service technicians and advisors to assign repair orders and ensure timely completion
- Maintain communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicle repairs
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and maintenance of repair orders
- Monitor and track technicians' productivity and efficiency
- Resolve any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Service Dispatcher in the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in using computer systems and software
- Knowledge of automotive repair terminology and processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Valid driver's license
