Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Compliance team as a Compliance Analyst. The Compliance Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our efforts to identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to Regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities :
- Analyze and investigate alerts generated by Regulation screening systems to determine the validity of matches and assess the level of risk posed.
- Conduct research using internal and external resources to gather additional information on individuals, entities, and transactions.
- Document findings and conclusions in a clear and concise manner, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other members of the Compliance team and relevant stakeholders to escalate and resolve compliance-related issues in a timely manner.
- Stay informed about changes to regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices to ensure compliance with evolving requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Regulatory compliance training programs for employees across the organization.
- Present Quarterly Regulatory Monitoring Report to the VP of Compliance
- Responsible for performing other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Relevant Industry Experience.
- 1+ years of industry-related experience with OFAC Regulations, Operations, Quality, or applicable experience in healthcare and Fintech.
- Knowledge of BSA, OFAC, AML, Red flags, and Identity Theft.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate information and make sound judgments.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex issues clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Prior experience or internship in compliance or risk management is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with regulations (e.g., OFAC) and screening tools/software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications.
