Hirning Buick GMC is looking for a Parts Counter Person to join our team of employees. Great opportunity for the right individual, competitive pay plan with benefits! The parts counter associate is responsible for assisting customers and automotive mechanics in finding accessories and ordering parts for repairs and upgrades to commercial and consumer vehicles. Automotive experience is necessary to the job.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting retail and wholesale customers at the counter and on the telephone.
- Assisting the Service Technicians with their parts needs.
- Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner on the status of any parts ordered and notify them upon delivery to the dealership.
- Assisting the Parts Manager with inventory control.
Job Requirements:
- Computer skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Automotive parts counter experience preferred.
- Valid Driver's License.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
Education:
* High school or equivalent (Preferred)
License/Certification:
* Driver's License (Preferred)
