Our Account Executive is part of a highly productive and mission-driven team that works together to create the best
possible customer experience for our nonprofit. The ideal candidate is a passionate, driven sales professional with a track
record of selling SaaS products to nonprofits and/or small businesses. You understand the tech startup
environment and are comfortable moving forward with little direction.
What we look for
- Previous nonprofit or volunteer experience
- Previous sales or fundraising experience
- Driven sales performer with demonstrated ability to meet/exceed quotas
- Greatest attention to detail, high diligence, and high level of organization
- Integrity and passion for our services
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent attention to detail
- Understands the need to do cold-calling occasionally to generate leads
- Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and web-based applications
- Desire to make a larger impact in the world by giving nonprofits technology solutions that help them drive their mission and impact change for the greater good
- Ability to work in a fast paced and growth environment with limited structure and guidance
- Self-starter/high level of internal motivation to win and succeed
- College degree or equivalent experience (required)
- Comfortable selling via phone calls, Zoom meetings, and emails (remote)
What you will do
- Sell Civic Champs SaaS volunteer management and engagement solutions: recruit new customers in the nonprofit/social good sector
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual goals and metrics as outlined by sales management
- Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified, prospective clients
- Have the ability to be flexible in terms of work environment (there is a small amount of travel for trade shows usually once or twice a month at most)
- Update client data and communications within HubSpot CRM
- Conduct software product demonstrations virtually using screen share technology
- Develop proposals and respond to RFP’s in a timely manner
- Provide consultative selling: through expertise and recommendations, your ability to provide solutions for the needs of the client will increase the quality of our products and services
- Problem solve: you will find ways to improve our business, products, approach and customer programs – you listen critically to enhance, improve and augment programs at each step of the way
- Collaborate: you will partner with our Customers Success team to foster the transition from sales to customer implementation; collaborate with engineering and product teams to test new features
- Continuously educate yourself on the latest digital volunteer management, engagement, fundraising, and advocacy best practices in the nonprofit space

- HubSpot CRM experience a plus
COMPENSATION
- $40,000 Base
- $60,000 On-Target-Earnings (no commission cap)
