The Inflight Intern will integrate knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and skills development in a professional workplace. The Intern will utilize analytical and critical thinking skills to complete project-based work assignments with an emphasis in Analytics within the Inflight Services department.

- Assist in tracking of IFS operational statistics, customer service metrics, and other performance metrics to help the company meet goals and provide a valuable service to internal and external customers.
- Perform ad hoc analysis for the Inflight Services department.
- Prepare and distribute monthly reporting for Inflight Operations and Services teams.
- Create automated processes where applicable for report processing and distribution through Tableau, SAS, Excel, or other available programs.
- Assist in administration and support of IFS technology, recognition, and other Inflight Services programs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Currently enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree such as Data Analytics, Statistics, Data Science or Mathematics with Junior or Senior class standing.
- Above average written and communication skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite platforms.
- Effective organizational, time management, & multi-tasking skills.
- Prior analytical experience (data analysis/reporting) or database management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other programming language preferred but not required.
- Ability to work and be based in Minneapolis, MN ; relocation assistance is not available.
- Ability to work full time (32-40 hours/week) during weekdays, with some schedule flexibility, if needed.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business environment.
- Repetitive motion such as typing.
- Minimal physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.
