Danbury 

The State of Connecticut Judicial Branch is seeking a qualified individual to perform professional to advanced library duties which include providing legal reference and research guidance, instruction in database searching, catalog and collection maintenance. 

The primary work location for this position is Danbury however, the selected candidate may be required to work up to two days a week at other locations within the state.

Salary Range: $71,967 - $90,706/year – plus State of Connecticut benefits . New employees begin at the minimum. The starting salary for existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in accordance with existing Judicial Branch policy.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

General Experience: A Master's degree in Library Science or Information Science from a graduate school accredited by the American Library Association. 

Substitutions Allowed: Three years of experience as a Law Librarian Trainee may be substituted for the General Experience. 

A Law Librarian I may be advanced to the class of Law Librarian II after receiving a satisfactory performance evaluation and meeting the experience requirements for the II level. 

Special Requirements: Incumbents in this class may be required to travel in the course of their daily work.
