Director Of Nursing-Home Health

John Knox Village is seeking a motivated individual to act as the Director Of Nursing for our Home Health division. This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity that oversees all care within our Home Health program and ensures all clients receive quality home health care that promotes optimum wellness and independence.

This position involves a variety of support in key areas and overall you will ensure that clients are demonstrating optimal wellness and dignity when receiving home health services. You will oversee nursing staff demonstrates professional, evidenced based practices that meets recognized standards of care. You will organize and implement ongoing staff development to maintain current proficiencies of all staff. You will oversee the communication to client physicians for timely orders for skilled care. You will be responsible for directing the effective use of safety and infection control procedures to ensure best outcomes for clients and staff.

We want to speak with individuals who have a passion for working with seniors and a Valid RN license from the State of Florida and current CPR certification. 5+ years of relevant nursing experience. Demonstrated competence with basic computer skills including but limited to email, Microsoft Office, and electronic records (AOD, PCC, Worxhub, MatrixCare) will be vital to this role. Demonstrated competence in assessment of all body systems, identification of pathophysiological conditions requiring medical intervention and infection control.
