Job Summary:
Join our team as an MRE Associate in the Inventory Control department at a leading jewelry retailer. As an MRE Associate, you will play a crucial role in receiving, categorizing, processing, and distributing customer/store damaged, trade-in, and break-out merchandise. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely and efficient handling of merchandise will contribute to our commitment to exceed customer expectations.
Job Specifications:
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Wilmington, NC
Pay Rate: $12.50/hr.
Shift: 1 st Shift, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
Roles and Responsibilities:
Respond to store inquiries regarding merchandise returns.
Research and identify untagged merchandise.
Create transfer documents for merchandise distribution between the corporate office and store locations.
Follow security policies to ensure merchandise protection.
Receive, document, and audit incoming damaged merchandise.
Review merchandise for quality issues and determine appropriate handling processes.
Maintain general housekeeping in the MRE area.
Collaborate with other corporate departments and stores to provide timely assistance.
Perform other duties as directed by Lead, Supervisor, and Inventory Control Director.
Conduct business affairs in a legal and ethical manner, fostering a socially conscious environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Computer experience required.
Inventory and distribution experience preferred.
Must have demonstrated communication skills.
