What this position is about

This is temporary role (6 months assignment).

In this role you will support the efficient and compliant operations of Logic and PTID receiving, storage and distribution of products.

You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to all product quality, traceability and safety guidelines. You will be also responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory reporting to JTI USA which includes periodic physical counts.

What will you do?

• Maintain awareness of all SOP's and ensure temporary staff is trained 
• Monitoring and managing inventory for adherence FIFO policy, and isolating Short Dated Product
• Communicate and verify all inventory movements with JTI USA personnel
• Prepare shipping documents and labels for B2B orders
• Communicate with outbound carriers to schedule all pickups on a daily basis
• Ensure carriers are using best practices and trailers are in sound condition to move our products
• Ensure safety guidelines are upheld during the loading process

What are we looking for?

• High School Diploma or GED. Associate Degree or experience preferred.
• 3 years experience in tobacco and/or warehousing industry, knowledge of tobacco/product quality
• Must be detail oriented and maintain a focused work ethic to ensure accurate operation of the storage facility
• Support and uphold Best Practices at all times
