Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing

Coverage Type: Clinical Call

Shift Schedule: MonFri

Call Schedule: Nights & Weekend calls

Every 6th night & every 6th weekend

Patient Volume: 20

Patient Demograhics: Adults

Rounding Included: Yes; Daily

Support Staff: RN

Duties/Procedures:

Assist with pre & post operative patient evaluation and treatment.

OR First assist.

Coronary artery bypass and all valve surgeries.

Aortic reconstruction and aortic arch reconstruction.

Robotic assisted thoracic surgeries.

Endoscopic vein harvest.

Open radial artery harvest.

Minimally invasive valves.

VATS & DaVinci Robot Thoracic procedures

Thoracic and foregut procedures.

ICU & Stepdown mgmt.

Emergent procedures on the floor (Chest tube insertions arterial line insertions etc)

Discharge summaries.

Walkin/urgent clinic visits when primary surgeon is not available.

Clinic wound checks as needed.

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active WA License

BC

DEA

ACLS BLS

At least 3 years of CV/CT Surgery experience

COVID Vaccination proof

Clean Record
