Buxmont Academy, a Pennsylvania licensed private academic school, is seeking a part-time records clerk for the Tatamy Creek campus in Easton, PA. If you have strong clerical and computer skills and appreciate working in a school environment, this may be the job for you.

Part-time position starts at 7:30am and is up to 29 hours per week. School hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 to 3:30, Fridays until 2:30. There are no evening or weekend hours. Buxmont Academy has 6 campuses in southeastern PA and uses restorative practices to encourage students to grow academically and emotionally. Classes are small with a high teacher to student ratio, and our staff work together as a part of an educational and therapeutic team for each student.

The responsibilities of our record clerks are varied. Clerks obtain student records from referral sources. They maintain all aspects of student data, including demographic fields, attendance, report cards, and testing. Clerks handle daily attendance of all students, and are involved in the administrative duties of the school's lunch program. They also ssume other duties and responsibilities as needed to maintain quality services.

Qualified candidates will possess a high school diploma or higher level of education.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to maintain professionalism and tact in high stress situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in computer technology skills and willing to learn new systems.
• The capacity to work effectively both independently and with a team.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all matters concerning clients, clients' parents and other responsibilities required by law, regulation and company policies and procedures.
