About the job

SUMMARY
Manages Inventory Control personnel and work processes and projects within the Warehouse. Coordinates 
material obsolescence handling and prevention. Plans, establishes, implements, and maintains a quality 
assurance program to ensure the highest possible degree of quality assurance for our internal and external 
customers. Provides routine reporting.

Your tasks

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining new and/or established inventory control processes, 
procedures, and work methods in accordance with industry standards, department and company 
objectives, and policies and requirements
• Managing and coordinating regular cycle counts and cycle counters
• Coordinating material obsolescence handling and prevention with other departments
• Maintaining communication and coordinating with the appropriate person(s) and/or department(s) to 
continuously improve inventory accuracy and maintain awareness of current activities and issues
• Managing, preparing, and conducting physical inventories
• Compiling KPI’s on operational performance and Warehouse productivity
• Working to improve operational performance by managing the slotting of parts in the Warehouse
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining new and/or established quality assurance processes, 
procedures, and work methods in accordance with industry standards, department and company 
objectives, and policies and requirements
• Maintaining quality assurance records
• Taking corrective action as required in maintaining the above
• Coordinates, with Human Resources, all aspects of employee relations including but not limited to, 
employee interviewing, hiring, coaching, counseling, disciplinary action, complaints, scheduling, training 
and development, etc.
• Reliable attendance is required
• Other duties as assigned
• Ability to travel as needed

• Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning,

• Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, 
costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Safety and Security — Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, regulations, and 
strategies to promote a safe environment.
• Intermediate Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating 
and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and 
correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Intermediate Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, 
commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of 
basic algebra and geometry.

• High Reasoning Skills - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables 
in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions 
furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 
• Computer Skills –MS Word, MS Excel, PBS, ADP
• Other Abilities – Ability to perform root-cause analysis on quality related issues and effect positive 
corrective actions 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• BS/BA degree (Experience may substitute for Education)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehouse or inventory control environment
• Forklift certification as needed
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Directly supervises staff
