Job description
Reporting to the Imaging Manager, the Diagnostic Imaging Technologist is responsible for radiological care to patients of all ages. Must have working knowledge of conventional Radiology. Must be able to operate all X-ray equipment and PACS. Prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications for patient s procedures and is responsible for patient education. Proven competency in addition to conventional radiography, working knowledge in at least one other area CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology if applicable competencies are met.
Qualifications:
(1) California State Licensed or certified in two or more modems, radiology/fluoroscopy, and/or mammography, and/or Computerized Tomography (CT).
(2) Satisfactory completion of an AMA approved program in radiological technology.
(3) Must be Registered with (ARRT) American Registry of Radiological Technologies.
(4) Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
(5) High school graduate or G.E.D.
