Job description

Primary Purpose of Position: The purpose of this position is to assist the Flight Adventure Deck (FAD) Manager in the management of the FAD program delivery in an effective, efficient manner and within established budgets and timelines to contribute to the success and longevity of FAD. This position will ensure that all programs maintain standards for educational quality and reflect the mission, vision and spirit of FAD.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

1. Program delivery, scheduling, and evaluation

• Prepare, distribute, and verify weekly FAD Division Officer roster
• Secure & transport school lunches to classroom from school bus
• Assist & support FAD summer camp program

2. Program Operations

• Ensure the standards for safety, security, hygiene, and emotional welfare of all participants and staff members
• Ensure consistency and educational integrity of the Programs

3. Program Organization, Staffing, and Training

• Assist the Program Manager in providing the staff timely, relevant, and appropriate training
• Assist the Program Manager in ensuring the accurate and timely completion of tasks assigned to FAD staff

4. Other Duties

• Assist the Program Manager in preparing and conducting post season debriefs of program staff, and execute approved recommendations/changes
• Coordinate and assist with STEM outreach events with the NAMF Director of Education
• Assist the FAD Manager with marketing NFA to schools and organizations
• As assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have good communication skills and basic computer skills; including software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Knowledge of youth camp and/or education programs. Time and project management. 

Education/Experience: Must have the ability to communicate effectively with the general public, employees, management and adults in an office environment. Requirements may change due to program's needs.

Work Environment: Office Environment, usually Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with 1 hour for lunch, but primarily depends on program delivery requirements that may include evenings and weekends.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
