Job Title: Assistant Accountant
Location: Fairfield, California
Job Summary: As an Assistant Accountant, you will be an essential member of our finance team, responsible for supporting various accounting functions to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with regulatory standards. You will play a key role in maintaining financial stability and contributing to the overall success of the organization. The candidate must have experience working Amazon ecommerce transactions and reports.
Key Responsibilities:

- Amazon Payment Transaction Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of Amazon payment transactions, including reconciling seller accounts, processing disbursements, and monitoring transactional activity. Ensure compliance with Amazon's payment policies and procedures.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Handle vendor invoices, customer payments, and refunds related to e-commerce transactions. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable records, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by recording journal entries, accruals, and adjustments related to e-commerce sales and expenses. Reconcile ledger accounts and prepare supporting schedules for financial reporting.
- Financial Reporting for E-commerce Clients: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports tailored to e-commerce clients, highlighting key performance metrics and trends. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience working in an accounting role or internship.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
