TBI Smart Home Technologies, a subsidiary of Toll Brothers, the nation's leading builder of luxury homes, is seeking a Technical Support Coordinator for our Corporate office located in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

What is the opportunity?

 

The Technical Support Coordinator provides technical support to field technicians and customers.  This position is required to assist customers with complex security alarm issues using probing questions, critical thinking, and analytical skills as well as helping to program automated items and sensors.

 

What are the primary responsibilities?

• Interact effectively and troubleshoot with company subcontractors on account activations and service calls.
• Review daily alarm events, follow up with customers and subcontractors for potential service issues.
• Use web-based applications to register wireless devices and set up testing of web-based services and products such as wireless communicators, automated devices, cameras, and other Alarm.com services.
• Provides solutions to customer's technical issues by identifying the problem, researching answers, and guiding the customer step-by-step through corrective measures for one-call resolution.
• Provide recommendations on upgrades to the customer's current home security alarm or highlight advances in home automation.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Early adopter of technology, advocate for smart home experiences
• Ability to navigate internal systems and external websites with respect to accounts

Do you have these qualifications?

• Essential:
  • 1+ years of experience with an Alarm Installation, Service or Home Technology company
  • Technical aptitude
  • Knowledge of hardwired and wireless alarm panels
  • Experience in configuring smart home devices including video cameras, video doorbells, smart thermostats, wifi garage control, keyless door locks, voice assistants and more
  • Experience in troubleshooting wifi connectivity issues
