Job description
Position Overview: The Inside Sales Representative - Valve/Automation will be responsible for developing relationships with customers and creating sales opportunities. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about products in the valve/automation space and have previous experience or knowledge in the oil, gas, and energy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers.
- Creating sales opportunities by researching customer needs and responding to inquiries.
- Conducting outreach to prospective customers to build relationships and promote company products.
- Resolving customer queries and handling customer complaints.
- Facilitating product demonstrations and providing technical advice to customers.
- Accurately entering and managing customer orders.
- Generating reports regarding sales activities and customer feedback.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the valve/automation space.
- Knowledge and experience in the oil, gas, and energy industry (specifically valve/automation)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
