Job description
Position Summary: The national consultant represents BJU Press to the customer as a conference speaker and represents the customer in BJU Press Marketing, based on field experience. This is not a remote position.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and deliver training for new BJU Press Christian school customers.
- Work with Precept Marketing Group to develop ongoing VIP content.
- Speak at local and national VIP events. Attend meals, tours, etc.
- Develop new presentations as needed.
- Speak at Exchange training conference.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Teaching experience required
- Must be able to travel easily
- Must be very familiar with BJU Press philosophy, products, and promotions
- Must be an effective public speaker
- Must have good people skills
- Must be able to think creatively and write clearly
- Must be a proven speaker.
- Preferred to be a seasoned and independent traveler
- Must have deep knowledge of BJU Press philosophy and products, preferably experience in using them as well
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: One to two years related experience
