Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating clinical pharmacy services within our organization. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee all clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management, drug information, and clinical consultations.
- Develop and implement clinical pharmacy programs to improve patient outcomes and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop evidence-based treatment guidelines and protocols.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to the pharmacy team.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Educate and train pharmacy staff on clinical pharmacy topics.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication safety programs.
- Stay updated on new developments in clinical pharmacy practice and contribute to the implementation of innovative practices.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient medication records.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Pharmacy licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical pharmacy, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in developing and implementing clinical pharmacy programs and protocols.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry guidelines.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
