POSITION DESCRIPTION :

POSITION: ARC Store Clerk at Crown Recovery Center  

EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt 

REPORTS TO: Regional Enterprises Manager

POSITION SUMMARY : As a Store Clerk, you should demonstrate exemplary leadership skills and ensure that the store staff carries out all duties efficiently. Ultimately, an exceptional clerk should be able to achieve excellent customer service. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this position. The position may require other duties, both major and minor, that are not mentioned below, and specific functions may change from time to time. 

● Job responsibilities include creating a positive and welcoming environment for customers.

● Clerk orders inventory for the store and maintains a bank register to remain accountable for financial stewardship. 

● Inventory of and scheduled maintenance of equipment and infrastructure of store space.

● All of this in addition to being a positive and caring team member and leader.

● Clerk is responsible for organizing and maintaining inventory. 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATION

● High school diploma or GED 

● Familiarity with telephone, office, and point-of-sale software 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

● Listen well and communicate in a professional and friendly manner 

● Focus on customer satisfaction 

● Practice basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and handling hot beverages

● Be efficient and organized 

● Build good relationships with customers 

● Maintain a clean work environment
