What You Need: - 5+ years of experience and demonstrated success utilizing supply chain/logistics systems, experience in fuel distribution management a plus
- 3+ years of previous management experience leading a team
- Experience with PDI consulting methodology, product lifecycle, and best practices
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with supply chain/logistics system implementation methodology; experience with fuel distribution system implementation a plus
- Demonstrated familiarity with Supply Chain Management best practices, previous fuel logistics industry consulting experience a plus
- A pragmatic approach coupled with the ability to thrive under the pressure of constant change and moving objectives as the organization grows
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Distribution or Supply Chain Management preferred
- Experience using or implementing PDI logistics products is a plus
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
About the Job: The Logistics Consulting Manager will be focused on assisting a team of consultants to profitably drive successful implementations that generate the highest levels of customer satisfaction and retention. In this role, the individual is ultimately responsible for the success of consulting engagements with our customers and meeting financial targets for a team of consultants.
What You’ll Do: - Distribute manage project/support workload and backlog while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction with the delivery of professional services
- Financial acumen to ensure financials goals of the team is met
- Partner with clients and consultants on assigned projects to identify solutions to business problems
- Become a subject matter expert on PDI logistic offerings and implementation steps to support team members
- Manage workload and backlog while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction with the delivery of professional services
- Perform administrative/tactical tasks required for leading a team of fellow consultants
- Provide day-to-day leadership and management of consulting team; assigning projects and providing a process for managing client escalations
