Job description
Job Summary:
The RN's responsibilities include patient assessment, patient care, medication administration, conscious sedation administration, hemodynamic monitoring and documenting of the procedure. The RN must be able to perform in a fast paced environment with a teamwork approach. The incumbent in this position may be required to work at hospital, West Marion Community, or the Free Standing Emergency Departments. Maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice in order to meet the health care needs of patients, their families and the community.
Qualifications:
●2 year Associates Degree or Vocation Degree required
●FL RN Licensure required or obtained within 90 days of hire if licensed with applicable RN Compact Licensure
●BLS
●ACLS within 90 days of hire/transfer
Additional Information:
●Shift times:10 hour shifts, hours could be 9a-7p; 10a-8p; 11a-9p
●Must have experience - WILLING TO CROSS TRAIN-must have 2+ years ICU experience or ED experience
●Unit Beds/ rooms: 3 procedural rooms
ON CALL REQUIRED: Must be within 30 mins
Call varies based on staffing. Normally it is 1 call shift per month plus one weekend (Sat & Sun) per month
On call pay is $4 per hour. If called in minimum of 2 hours pay at 1 ½ times base pay
Sal range: $30.01 - $34.10 (17yr MAX) determined by HR
SIGN ON : $15K
Relo: Determined on a case by case basis
Shift Diffs: Nights $4.25 per hour; Weekend $3.00 per hour
